Well these fruit & vegetable molds make that fantasy a possibility by changing the shape of fruit and veg as we know it!
The creators “Slingfisher” claim that by using their specialist molds you can grow fruit and vegetables into the shape of just about anything in your back yard.
You’d think by messing with the natural order of things that you would ruin the quality or the nutritional content, but nope all is good.
Did I mention they also randomly sell knickers for your peaches on their website?
They have a plethora of different types of fruit molds.

Apparently they also customise molds to your specifications although I have no idea of the cost.
The process is pretty simple, you place the fruit into the plastic molds when it is young and undeveloped and then the fruit will grow naturally into it’s plastic mold creating just about any shape you want. Not sure on what seals the mold but I would imagine it would need to be pretty tough!
Square watermelons became a trend in Japan which inspired the creation of these molds.
Expect to pay anywhere between $20 and $50 per mold! Not sure if you can use it more than once but at that price I’d really hope so.
